The man allegedly sent over 7.24 million fraudulent commands in the three days from Jan. 18 last year in an attempt to obtain membership information.
Under a pact signed with Mercari, LY and Rakuten, the National Police Agency will receive and analyze information on credit cards used fraudulently and on accounts of malicious merchants.
